Here is a link to all you need to know from Mr Boldstroke. We used to run against some pretty nice Boldstroke dogs at our club and in Western NC LP clubs.

Re: Fleas on 3 1/2 week old pups ?
Thanks for the replies. The hydrated lime is something I will use in the future. I did it a few years ago tou help clean up the soil and never had pests. The vet recomends the Dawn bath an treating the kennel. Never heard of the Head and Shoulders method. May be good. I am a little afraid of the Fro...

Re: Carolina
I have been too lazy this year. I did pretty good until the end of June. Got some kind of strep throat crossed with the chikengunya the first of July and just worked and slept for the most part of 6 weeks. Hope to get out soon. My dogs are getting restless.

Re: Dogs that hunt hard but dont produce...
Lack of Rabbits ! :D :D All kidding aside I agree with Alabama John that the hard hunter has a place in the pack. The dogs I have had that jumped the most rabbits were not the brush busters. I have 1 old male that never got more than 20 yards away from me before a rabbit was jumped, but he had a kna...

Re: Problem with a dog that digs...
I had one that would dig for big white grub worms. I really think he could smell them before he started to dig. If they dug under a fence I have just buried concrete blocks, bricks or big rocks back in the holes and covered with dirt.

Re: T-REX
Have been breeding mostly T-Rex and Northway dogs for the last few years. Have seen some with more mouth than I could stand a few times. Never seemed to lack nose. The ones we have kept make good instinctive rabbit jumpers with correct mouth. Just because a dog aint opening up all over the place doe...

Re: Funny dog names
I named one "Electric Smoke House". He was one of the fastest running dogs I have ever seen, but he was over 16 " tall and had extra mouth. I sold him to a hunter for a good price and he still hunts him today. Big old smokey looking blueticked beagle. Got some other cool names picked out for future ...

Rabbit Salad. Use your favorite chicken salad recipe and substitute rabbit for chicken.
There is always Hasenpfeffer. Most recipes call for alot of garlic, but I am not a big garlic fan an leave it out. Here is a link for a good looking dish. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/hasenpfeffer-rabbit-stew/
