how big will this pup be
So I probably already know what you guys are going to say but figured I would post the question anyways. I have a couple pups that are 6 months old and the one male is very stocky and measuring at 12 inches now, any chance he will stay under 13. Both parent are 13

Re: Tracking collars
I had the tracker maxima a few years back and went to the garmin astro when they came out and have been very happy. The astro let's you track up to 10 dogs at a time, you know exactly how far out the dogs are and if you get the map loaded on to the system you will see most roads and other hazards th...

Re: Take Pete to Run Hare or Not???
I would not be affraid to drop him down at some point in the race. If these other dogs are more experienced and quicker, I may wait until the other dogs have run a while. I would make sure he's got a tracker and a shocker on, you never know up there. I have been thinking about going to the up myself...

Re: My kennel just got alot bigger
Well starting to get a little worried, since yesterday I've had two more pups die. One minute they are all healthy and the next another one is dead. I'm afraid she is sitting on them on accident. She appears to be a good mother and laying close to them, but maybe laying a little too close. Looks lik...

My kennel just got alot bigger
I had posted back in August of this cross I made and somehow lost the thread, anyway my bitch had 9 pups last night and this was her first litter. She wasn't due for a few days but looking how big she was, it didn't surprise me that she had them early. By the time I noticed she had them one was dead...

Re: Ranger Dan Bloodline???
I don't think the blood line can be classified into one formate because these dogs have been successful each of the formates you have mentioned. I am personally familar wth akc and I have seen this blood line do very well on both spo and large pack.

Re: Another Garmin Question
The thing about these collars is that you should be about to locate your dog quickly without needing to leave them over night. A few weeks ago a young bitch of mine took a deer and stupid me I didn't run her with a shock collar that day. I watched as she ran across a field two hundred yards away. Th...

Re: October Hare Hunt Video
Questioning the way we handle weapons was the last thing I expected when I posted this. I guess I should expect these things to happen. I can tell you that we knew where the hounds were and they were not close to the hare. If you know me, I'm very cautious of my hounds, and if there is a question of...

October Hare Hunt Video
I shot this video in October. My brother and I met up with a couple of good friends Scott Calkins and Hosae. My brother managed to shoot his first two hare but he was only using 2 1/2 inch 410 shells which don't do the best on hare. This is my first attempt at puting video on the net. I hope it work...

Re: Ranger Dan Bloodline???
why would they be crazy pups. It's no diffrent than line breeding two other dogs. I've heard this myself on other posts. I think what you will find is that people were breeding anything and everything to there ranger dan males and most likely many of these dogs were very rough and mouthy dogs. Peopl...

Re: Ranger Dan Bloodline???
Steve your right my male has T on the bottom. Comes for the same stuff ron's stuff is out of. As for the hunt, I think that is debatable, I've got dogs that are close in dan and T and the stuff out of T shows nothing close to the same amount of hunt. Who knows !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
