Re: Kennel name question?

Here's a suggest West's Soggy Bottom Shep... Replace Shep with whatever you wish the call name of the dog to be. Just put a prefix of West's in front.

Re: Ho has stud dogs in the annvill ky area

Rocken... there's several beaglers around the Jackson, Clay, Laurel, Knox, Rockcastle, and Whitley county area. Perhaps if you could tell us size, breeding, etc. you're looking for we can point you in right direction. What's the size and breeding on your female? What traits are you looking to add?

Re: LOOKING FOR 14" TO 15" BLUETICK STUD HOUND

TC... My loss? Not really since as I noted in my original post I was looking for an OPEN MARKED bluetick. I'm not in search of a BLANKET BACK hound. Thanks anyhow...

Re: AKC Midwest Association

TC... AKC doesn't see it as different types of dogs. To them a beagle is a beagle. However we all know otherwise. Nevertheless if trials are within 100 mile radius of one another, they usually require a club to gain permission from the other club to be able to hold trials. Even though they man run d...

Re: AKC Midwest Association

Who does Central Indiana you guys have judging for you? Also was just looking at AKC's events calendar, there's about 3 to 4 other AKC clubs close to 100 miles of you having trials that weekend as well. AKC has policy where trials have to be at least 100 miles apart or agreement made between the two...

Re: LOOKING FOR 14" TO 15" BLUETICK STUD HOUND

Nor'Easter actually I prefer the faster hound. However I'll sacrifice the foot for a hound that ran run the line. Needless to say whether fast or slow, the hound should be looking for loss at the check rather than the next county. Many don't have the patience and concentration to work at point of lo...

Re: LOOKING FOR 14" TO 15" BLUETICK STUD HOUND

Jimmie... Of the Turbo and Northway hounds I've seen. 99% of them lack patience, concentration, brains, and line control, nor have a clue where point of loss is to say the least. Maybe I haven't seen the "great ones" out of these lines, because I'm seeing things total opposite out of all the onion s...

Re: LOOKING FOR 14" TO 15" BLUETICK STUD HOUND

Looks small in the picture... may be the way he's posed. Littermate is 13" hound... oh well. Ain't bluetick so can't really see why you offered him in the first place since the subject heading did say BLUETICK STUD HOUND. While you were only joking, as for your offer, given what bloodlines you run I...

Re: LOOKING FOR 14" TO 15" BLUETICK STUD HOUND

Mobster, I'll pass on anything Vansickle has.

Jude,
Thanks and I'm sure that Digger is all good and stuff. But two things he's not 14 to 15" and more so he's not a bluetick hound. Crabtree's dog is Northway on bottomside and isn't open marked either.

LOOKING FOR 14" TO 15" BLUETICK STUD HOUND

Searching for a 14 inch to 15" OPEN MARKED bluetick stud. Must have superb hunt and desire and a big nose with the brains to use it correctly. Prefer an upper medium to fast footed hound. Also just because the dog has a few ticks on him doesn't make him a bluetick. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING OU...

Re: Compete in AKC with a grade dog??

Your list doesn't say anything about being allowed to compete in Field Trials. Thus I would say no they can't compete.

Fields Trials and Hunt Tests are two totally different things.
