Free 5 year old female beagle

A friend of my niece has a beagle she needs to find a good home for. The girl can't keep her in her appartment. She is spayed and has no reg. papers, but does have her adoption papers and shot record and is up to date. I have seen her pics and yeah, she's TOTALLY full blooded and a pretty girl :ange...

Re: Grooming - HELP!

Well, I'm a pet groomer, but on the job, I don't clip on the pet beagles when they are groomed, and never have come across any show beagles to clip, but I used to clip on an old female I had when she was still alive, as her coat longer. First if you want to get into clipping your own, I would trade ...

Re: Does my dog need friends?

Our beagle is in the house......with 2 cats  . For the most part they all do ok , but being he is only almost 8 months old, he wants to play and jump , but they don't play as ruff as him, so now and then they will swipe at him, plus the cats are taking to sleeping in higher places now, just t...

When we had our other three beagles years ago, and our basset, they never left our fenced yard, and they had a LARGE kennel also.......for their own safety as well as others, we always knew w...

Re: Question about Purina ?

I'm feeding purina puppy chow right now and don't like the soft poop I'm seeing, and they have been wormed so that's not the problem. I gave one some Ukanuba high pro stuff I won ($60 a bag up here) probably the best dog food on the market, and I seen good hard poop. I'm going to use some other pup...

Re: A little help please

Mine would have been beter born with a gizzard  . Some of the things he eats scare me, and sometimes it's stuff ya don't want to talk about :censored:. Now and then he'll wretch till it comes up, or pass things undescribable :annoyed: . When my kitchen chairs start moving across the floor, I ...

I have said it before and will again......this dog was an intense rabbit hunter  . Three litters of his went out in Illinois through the years.....would love ...

If you read in the obedience posts, I have a pistol of a pup. I don't quite know how I feel about the shock collars you use, or maybe I just don't think I could um, electrocute my dog   . I DO have one of those high pitched hearing doimifloppys....ya push a button and zap them . Do you t...

Re: new litter

I have been reading about these colors as I'm really getting to like the variance of the tan and whites......and finding out everyone calls them something different. Do those tan/red and white pups have dark markings on their ears and around their eyes?.....Kind of looks like it, and I have seen whe...

Re: UKC Dual Purpose Bred Pup

Sorry if this offends anyone, but I have to ask this question....Why would you place a nice DUAL bred puppy like this into a show home? If you do that, you will never know what he can do in the field. I made it a rule several years ago to never sell to a pet (or show only) home, since I want to kno...
