Give Collar Clinic a call, I just bought one from them. Not an exact match but you would never know by looking at it.

There are days when conditions don't allow for good running so I don't use that for success. Success for me is if my dogs or myself learn something, I can't remember the last time this didn't happen. Some days I load my young dogs when I know humidity is low just to work on their handling.

DNR plants the sorghum here in NC for the Black Bear and they love it but I have no luck finding rabbits around these fields. The next year they rotate where they plant it and let the fields grow up, then I can find rabbits.

If you feel pretty good about your dogs also give them the benefit of the doubt. Some rabbits will make a big circle and run a straight line that dogs can really fly with. I used to worry about shocking them immediately, but then I realized you have range with the collars.

I think the odds of getting a good dog are better with a female but when you get the once in a lifetime dog it is usually a male for me.

Try what blue collar said and reprogram it to the transmitter. I just had this happen to me and it would not reprogram, called tri-tronics have the serial number of the collar handy and they can tell you over the phone if it is under warranty. Not sure about rabbits but I know deer will run from squealing or chop mouth dogs faster than bawling mouths.
