Thanks Hounddog. I really appreciate it. I don't know when, but I'm sure sometime I'll be ready to trial again. For right now, I will just go into the fields with some friends I have the upmost respect for. We'll just let the dogs do what they do....and we'll just enjoy the fall weather and the soun...

We went out a few days ago. Before dropping the dogs, my friend Paul powdered his dogs down with seven dust. After he was done, he still had a little powder on his hands, which he "patted" off on his pants by smacking his pants a few times. We went out and I pulled probably 20 ticks off me in the 3 ...

 This is news to me! I had no idea you needed a license to run dogs. I've said it before and I'll say it again.....thank God I bought my lifetime hunting license when they were $525 dollars! I think they run around 800 bucks now, and if I hadn't already bought one, I'd still buy it at that pr...

:( Man Matt, I too am sorry to hear about that. I was eating dinner when Jessie called me to tell me...kind of wasn't hungry after that. I only hope to own a dog which achieves the level Boat did. I want to say thank you for allowing me to own hounds out of him. If there's ANYTHING I can do for you,...

Man Randy, I also am sorry to hear that. I was just talking to Paul this weekend about him, wondering how he was doing. I surely dread the day that I have to do what you guys did. I hope he's where the rabbits run thick and the sun always shines. Brian.

Tough Hunting

:D Here is a picture of our hunt last Monday. Man, the dogs ran bunnies from the time we dropped the tailgate until we finally pulled em off in the afternoon. The pups are only 10 months old and are HAMMERING! Problem was, the bunnies wouldn't come out of the thick stuff long enough to shoot the ras...

Hanna is in my right hand in front of my right leg...and thanks. I think I've finally convinced Lisa that just because a beagle will eat doesn't mean it's starving. :D Brian
