Yeah, they are pretty available. I got one at Gander Mountain. The only thing I'll say is, the battery on my outside sending unit would go dead pretty quick in the winter. Sometimes in just a couple days. If I were to buy another one, I would look for one that has taken -20 degree weather's effect o...

I agree w/ everyone else so far. I don't worry about it unless it gets to 10 or 20 below. Then I'll just bring them in for the night. Otherwise they'll lose their winter coats. I would think.

Yep, Strike & Jump.

I'm surprised there isn't anyone on the other side of this one. Saying the dog doesn't deserve the plus points since it couldn't run it. I remember about a year and a half ago this same question came up and there was a big argument on whether the dog should get plus or minus.

I stand corrected on Big Dog's scenario. To tell you the truth, I'm pretty relieved I was wrong. Just doesn't seem right to give points to a dog standing around.

BTW, I'm not a judge, so I've never scored it wrong in trial.

On Big Dog's scenario: The only possible way to score it is Jump for Dog B and Strike for Dog A. It's unfortunate and not a perfect world scoring system. But the rules are the rules and have to be followed. You can't give a strike to Dog B, he didn't open. First 3 barks gets the strike, whether its ...

I have a female out of him. Good line control, excellent brush dog. Runs great in a pack, but solo she is slower than mollases in the middle of winter. She handles excellent too.

That's how I estimated the time. I know I have to replace the wood around the door of our hutch every 3 to 4 years. and it is 4 sq. ft. w/ one rabbit chewing on it. He'll get about half of it chewed away and I'll replace.

If your convinced it was rabbits, then I would say that stand has been laying there for a year or probably even 2 for just rabbits to have done that much damage to it. I think the damage to the rabbit population would be so minimal its not much to worry about. Especially if they've been chewing on i...

I agree, 2 sides to every story and it seems like in this case the other side probably doesn't have the ability to tell there side. (No website, probably no internet access) So one side gets to blast away and the other has no way of telling there side. It's one of the downfalls to the internet. I'm ...

I had a male that would do this. Would not start a race. But if someone else in the pack went, he would go with them. He wouldn't open up until he was about 100 yards out. As if I couldn't hear him then. The old go find deer and set him up wouldn't work, because he wouldn't take them. The only thing...
