I make batches of deer jerky every year. I use different cures from Cabela's and a dehydrator. It's really simple with a jerky shooter. You can make it as tender or as chewy as you want depending on how long you leave it in.

Our crew will be up there next week. The island is always a good time. We don't usually do much in the way of killing, but always come back with a pile full of good times and memories!

Oops, I was wrong, couldn't get their site to work and assumed they had gotten rid of it. They sold all of their older dogs too I believe. Buster and Blanche were recently sold to a guy named Shannon Howard from kentucky. Last I knew he was planning on breeding them.

Yea, that's a cool pamphlet. The Lehner's at Bald Eagle Beagles have had that on their site for many years now, unfortunately they have gotten out of beagles altogether and no longer have the website available.

Great pictures! Looks like you had a great time. We were up there 2 weeks ago and had some good running. I took lots of pics and videos but have been too lazy to post them or put them on our website.
