steve, i have a uncle that has coon hunted for 50+ yr's, he always carries turpintine, but insted of bacon grease he uses mineral oil, i have seen him use it,an he swears by it, but like u i don't know, i will goes as far 2 say if 1 of mine got bit i'd use or try it.

the diff between the 2 is the tt 15's has vibrate and picks up off of glonass , witch is russian gps , other than that their the same. personally i like the tt 10's the tone feature i like and would be hard for me to do with out,the vibrate feature ive not really found a use for it on a beagle mysel...
