I live about 15 minutes from the Peabody land your talking about. When you can find a rabbit it is some of the best running anywhere. But with that being said, due to development and loss of habitat here in western KY many meat hunters have had to give up their small farms including me. Now everybod...

I should'nt even reply to this since this a beagle board. But here goes. The orginal thread was about dog fighting which I know nothing about and don't care nothing about. But when I hear people speak of cock fighting who know nothing about it I get really upset to say the least. I don't expect anyo...

I bet you eat chicken though. Answer me one thing if chicken fighting did'nt exsist, or the goverment wanted to confiscate GAME ...

Need some help
I just moved back to Ky from Kansas. I've been around beagles all my life but not field trials. I like a good medium to med fast line control dog that hunts good. What format would be best for me to run in in Western KY. I prefer AKC and am familiar with the formats they run. But I understand if dif...

so far so good
I have'nt been able to tell much difference as far as my dogs eating it. If anything they might like it a little more. Its to early to tell if they're gonna do as good on it as the old food. I think it went up about $1.50 per 20lbs here. I was wondering if any of you guys can still get it at Wal-mar...

Dale I left Schofield about a year ago and I can assure you the road leading up to that pass is just as steep as you remember. Hawaii was the place that made my wife realize just how much I love my hounds. She just can't understand how someone can be happier in a briar thicket than on a sunny beach.

I can tell you first hand this is not a uncommon thing. I'm in the honor guard for the Amy here in Kansas, and Missouri. We have a soldier come in at least once a month, and there's always a crowd gathered. Just last month we had a WW2 vet come in from Japan. He had been missing in action. His wife,...

Cannon Hollow, Thanks for the help. I had seen vegetables canned before but never meat. I was'nt sure exactly how you went about canning meat. I canned 3 quart jars and they seem to of come out ok. I cooked them for about 4 hours. After I took them out I only heard one jar pop (seal). I guess the ot...

Canning Rabbits
I was wondering if someone could give me step by step directions for canning rabbits. I am not gonna use a pressure cooker so I need to know how to can them without one.
Thanks in advance,
David
