The law is pretty well the same way here. I talked to my conservation agent here. He says my dogs can go wherever as long as they dont pose a threat to life or property.

How do yotes run when pursued by a pack of dogs? Do they circle or just get gone? Depends on the time of year and the cover they have to run it. Alabama John pretty much hit on it IMO. There are dogs who look for game, and there are dogs who look for a track. Brake fluid will work I've used it myself.

I buy a couple cases of bottle rockets a year. I'll shoot a pack off a week from the front porch almost year round. Never had a problem with a dog and a gun since.
