I have a Super Sport 12 gauge that is the first gun I grab when doing anything other than rabbit hunting. This gun just fits me. I love the fact that I can float the target with my Benelli. Everything from doves to geese and trap to skeet, its the first gun I grab.

I have two gyp's right now that couldn't settle it. Every night at feed time they got into it. So I stepped in. They both wore a bark collar turned all the way up for about a week. As soon as one would start in they would both get lit up. Neither one is interested in being dominent anymore. Now they...

I went this morning without a gun and had some excellent runnin. Saw an almost all white cottontail. Except for the very light tan color on his back he was white as snow. Also saw a red one. Do ya think some body cut there pet loose and it actually raised a litter in the wild. They ran good so I'm s...

Out of all the Hybrid crossed made with beagles over the last few years this one actually makes sense to me. Not that I'm gonna run out and buy one, but if you have ever seen a Jack doing what he was bred to do it is impressive to say the least. They are pound for pound as determined as any beagle a...

Catfish, listen, your doing it right. You've planted the seed that the scent of deer means discomfort. It takes patients and time but it sounds to me that they are getting the message. If you like what your seeing from these dogs, then just keep working with them. One of my best rabbit dogs ever to...

Terry, where were you runnin? I had a lot of do gooders pick my dogs up off the track when I lived in Indy. Used to pee me off something fierce. If you lost her on the north side chances are good she'll end up in the Hamilton Co. shelter. Check everyday as they are quick to spay an neuter. Good luck...

Southwest corner. I don't know for sure until they give me my mapquest. All I know is the customer is straight North of Portland about 20 miles over the state line. Now heres the big question. Are you guys overrun with rabbits, and will I run into Bigfoot? Can't deal with the whole "man/ape" thing. ...

Western Beaglers got it made.

I've been making quite a few service trips out west for work and I tell ya what they are overrun with cottontails. I had to service a trailer at a customers house in Delta, Co and counted 9 rabbits in his lane. I asked him if that was unusual and he just laughed and said come back in the morning. It...
