Ohio Dog Running
Many in Ohio believe you must have a state hunting license to run dogs year round. The main man Columbus setting the District supervisors and their officers straight on the subject. You do not need to be licensed in Ohio . Anyone who believes different call Dirk Cochran at the State DNR Office . I h...

Re: Garmin Alpha Update - Plz Read
Here is a question. Why are we paying 1500.00 for a system with all these cute features and we have to disable them to to get everything else to work properly. To me, this is like buying a new car and we have to shut off the ac/ or heater to get it to run. I bought the alpha 100 tt15 with 2 extra co...

Re: When to feed dogs?
Been to Kenton Nationals in Kenton Ohio many, many times in my life and have watched the filed trials as well as the water races. A guy doesn't have to be 120 years old to have experienced much in the hunting dog world and to have been employed in several trades. I suspect I was at the Kenton Ohio ...

Re: conditioning dogs ?
I started mine 5 weeks ago. I only run about 10 hours per week ( do other work at home) . I have a performance hound background, greyhounds etc. Most run their dogs down rather then run em up. http://i727.photobucket.com/albums/ww273/daytonoutdoorsman/Facebook/Beagles/1604536_352250201589402_5275700...

I don't know anything about using a hose other than I suppose one would attempt to ram it down the dogs throat with the hope it would push through into the stomach and create a vent. It would be my absolute last resort. I stood at the operating table and watched the whole surgical procedure from st...
