Re: new borns
The biggest cause of death in newborn puppies is being cold and dehydration. If they are not being kept warm that could be your problem. If you have noticed a heating pad lessens the problem then they are likely too cold. newborns should be kept around 75degrees or higher. At birth they cannot regul...

Re: Breeding trouble
Same thing as before happened tonight. Looks like every time he got going the female would take a step or two to the side, and he would have to start over. We tried leashing him and holding her, but all he wanted was to pay attention to us. Getting frustrated. Maybe she just isn't ready. A lot of t...

All the packaging and inserts are in english. composition: Praziquante...

Re: Breeding trouble
I have a male that can't seem to get deal sealed. The female stands good and he mounts her,but it may take 15 to 20 tries until he gets a decent erection, but it always misses when he comes out fully. Then he ejaculates, and we have to wait a few hours to try again. This has been going on since the...

Re: sore on puppy
A lot of wounds can look pretty bad but, will heal up fine. That one is rather deep and I think that I'd at least have a vet look at it. I doubt it is the type of wound that would be sewn up at this time. Most likely it will heal from the inside out. I'd sure want to start the puppy on antibiotics t...

I have tried 4 times, to order this product from the link you posted. I have been declined with an error comment of "Blocked (R)". I called my credit card company and they don't show any attempted transactions and they even walked me through the last attempt. Can someone tell me why I can't order t...

Re: Question for breeders?
A really simple muzzle can be made with a pair of used pantyhose (ask the wife) or some medical gauze. Cut a strip of material and loop it around the muzzle and tie it underneath..fairly tight but not to cut off circulation. then take the ends up around the back of the dogs head and tie off at the t...

I agree with TC. She should be seen by a vet. Its our responsibility to give our dogs proper medical care especially during a pregnancy and into old age.

Re: Female in Heat
This sounds a little unusual to me and I wouldn't risk a male around her at this point. Some bitches can have a split cycle as well. How does she act towards the males?

Re: Uno's visit to the White House
Leah, I know first hand how a dog can help in the rehab of seriously injuried people as I work in a center myself. A dog always puts a smile on their face and a reason in their hearts to keep on dealing with disabilities. I sometimes bring my beagle puppies in to work and let these folks enjoy them...
