Hurricane Creek Julie - AKC

13"(?) BW&T female 3 yrs. old. Hasn't been bred and next due in Nov-Dec. Good hunt, hunts along with/for you (not under your feet and not over the next hill) and handles well. She likes a hot line, yip to chop mouth no extra. She’s mostly been braced but has been packed, is quick, likes the front bu...

Re: males or females?

Dana,

Having hunted with the sire and dam and seen them run :eyes: ... Given their pedigree and your price... I would've thought the whole litter would be gone in a flash. Wish I had room.

Re: conditions terrible

Dana, I hope you get some of this rain forecast for tomorrow... Finally had a decent 2+ hr run this afternoon with a SPO brace; we'll see how the faster hounds do tomorrow. If they run crappy I can always dry off and look for one of your threads to hijack and twist to politics :)

Re: cranks chicken?

You can also search for info and post your question at http://www.rabbitdogs.net/forum.php Best way is go watch that 3 yr old male run in person (not videos). Do you like what you see, how he handles, hunts, runs -- solo and with other hounds. If you can, also try and observe if he has any annoying ...

Re: Scenario - open discussion

I assume you would, if it was possible, want to continue your line... In that situation, I would try to keep two breeding pairs of my best. Maybe a young male and female under 2 yrs, and another pair between 2-5 yrs old. A good pack of your four keepers should be enough for a nice run (when you can)...

Re: Lumberjack Grand-daughters

To the gentleman who called early yesterday evening:

The call was dropped when our power went off. When the power came back on around 10 pm, the phone did not show the number under recent calls for me to call you back (this morning)... PM me your number and I'll call you. Thx.

Lumberjack Grand-daughters

Looks like the recent breeding I made stuck so will sell two 15" class Lumberjack x Hattie (Heli Prop x Spring Fever) Grand-daughters, and a 13" female off my line-bred male. They've been brought along slowly on cottontail, mostly soloed and braced in thick cover. Bottom side of Lumberjack Grand-dau...
