My stuff is all hare breeding, but I only hunt cottontails. They are full 15in dogs & they sure do get into the thick stuff. I think it might be an advantage to have a hare dog trained on cottontail. I thought the idea was to have the hounds corner the hounds somehow(like a brush pils ) & you had to finish off the yote. I saw videos on it & the dogs would run the yote until it got tired or holed up somewhere & the hunter finished it off. Mike

I make slate, glass, & aluminum calls, & like cherry, black walnut, pecan, & canary woods. Been makeing them for a few years & sell a few now & then. Trade a few with other call makers from time to time. Mike

I dont shoot the strays. Try only to shoot the one that is being trailed. Passed up plenty because I wasnt sure it was the one.
