NEVER EVER open an attachment in an email (especially if it's from someone you don't know) without running it through a virus scanner of some sort. There are a lot of "Freeware" virus scanners that do a pretty good job...the one I like is... AVG Control Center http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php...

Skin tags...
Our 5 1/2 year old female has developed two skin tags on one of her eye lids. Aside from freaking my wife, my concern is that one of them looks like it will eventually get under her eye lid. Our vet says no big deal...they will cut them off and cauterize them. They say they need to put her under for...

Could be as simple as "seasonal allergies". You can set your watch/calander to one of Beagles...every summer, just after our hayfever subsides, good ol' Buddy begins itching and scratching (not the cartoon  ). The only real signs are his scratching, his coat seems a little "duller", and his ski...

We recently adopted a 5 year old female and have the exact same problem. She is fine with people, babies, and our 2 year old male beagle, but when were out walking her...look out! She barks, growles, and lunges at any other dog she sees. Fortunately she is a runt, only about 12 pounds...we just need...

What worked for us a muzzle. When ever the pup started biting, or showing signs of aggresion we would put it on...he instantly went in the corner a pouted. We would only have to leave it on for a short time (15 minutes or so) and it quickly got to the point where we only had to pull it out and show ...

We feed our beagles Pinnacle by Breeders Choice and it has helped with a number of problems we had with other brands. Here's link to all the info and "fluff"...

Don't know about paint, but anti-freeze can do some pretty serious liver damage. Your vet didn't recommend bringing the dog in to be checked? Watch for signs of dehydration (not drinking as much and skin doesn't have "normal" elasticity) and yellowing of the eyes...these are sure signs of liver prob...

Thanks for the info. This little dog is a house pet only. The only debris she could possibly get is the corner of my wife's pillow  We too have another Beagle that doesn't have this issue. Fortunately, there are no weird colors to the "goobers". She doesn't seem bothered by it, but we will doub...

You folks certainly seem to have a much greater knowledge on this than the average person (me). Just a quick word for those reading this that aren't "experts"... We recently got a dog that was heartworm posative and learned a lot. If you are starting a dog on heartworm treatment... SEE A VET FIRST! ...

Well I was finally able to get in touch with Mojave Desert Beagles. As I had suspected, Mr. Donald Potts has turned out to be a "real stand-up guy". He is refunding us the purchase price of the dog we purchased from...which is about break even with the vet bills. I feel a little guilty for letting o...
