i have a maremma sheepdog, they are a cousin to the great pyreenes. they are a little finer bone than their cousin. my male will run with my beagles. they can kill a coyote one on one. i do know that last winter while feeding my beagles i saw two coyotes watching me. the maremma ran both coyotes off...
