Just so ya know, Blanche was originally a house dog....

Sage was whelped on St. Patrick's day and we found out Easter morning that we were indeed going to get him. It all went down hill from there. Patch hounds are like Lay's potato chips, you can't have just one!!

I have 5 Patch hounds AND 2 labs in the house. Manners are a requirement. Here is a shot of 5 out of 6, the others were in utero yet in the middle hound in the photo. This is my mother in law feeding them all off of a fork.

We too have our Patch hounds in the house. I personally think the folks that have them in kennels are missing the best part of these dogs. One of the males from my last litter only dropped one. I never even bothered to register him, because I wont breed him because of it. Not to mention he is a genetic freak and over 17". But my son loves him just the same and claimed the pup as his own.
