I have seen the Beagle Huntsman's big pack run and it was very impressive. I was skeptical at first, like some of you , about running that many at a time but I have to say that they were all working together as a pack and ran extremely well.

Hi-Tek is a great feed, I fed it for 2 years before I lost my supplier here and the dogs did great on it. Wish someone near here carried it, hate to have to open my own feed store just to feed a few dogs..LOL

I guess what I'm getting at is that some people see a couple of dogs run that are from a certain bloodline, trial format or whatever and they base there opinions that every dog that falls under those guidelines are like that. And then run around and tell it for the gospel. So what are some of yalls...

Length of race..?

Just like to know how long your average race lasts? I know there will be variables, conditions, time of year etc.. but on average what is the length of time from the jump to the end of race.

How about sectionalized feed troughs similar to ones used for cows only smaller, has anyone seen or used something like this? I personally don't like the self feeders for all the same reasons mentioned in previous posts but I have been thinking about trying to come up with some sort of sectionalized...
