Re: Straits of Mackinac SPO on Hare 12/10/11/11
Should be a good turn out. I agree with Mybeagles these are all very experienced judges who have plenty of SPO trials under their belts not to mention large pack events. With the Straits coming aboard again the Northern Michigan Hare Asso. now has 6 spo events a year. Looking forward to seeing some ...

Re: Straits of Mackinac SPO on Hare 12/10/11/11
These are all AKC licensed judges. I guess I didn't realize there were different judges for each format. I've judged both SPO and Large Pack for sometime and now I don't know which one I am?? I took the Large pack seminar back in the day...but I prefer SPO format.

Club. yearly dues
I'm wondering what most clubs across the country are charging for dues? I know with the lack of entries and AKC fees I don't know how some of these clubs make it with the ever so often rising prices, like insurance and taxes and whatever other cost a club may have. I. belong to two clubs and the yea...

Re: why solo?
Solo time is the absolute best way to develop a young hound. If I have 3 or 4 young dogs they get rotated throughout the week. Each one needs their time to shine. Look at how many dogs out there can't jump and circle a rabbit on their own. Dogs under 18mo. I like 3/4 solo to 1/4 pack time. Older do...

Re: Snowshoe Ridge (Wisconsin) SPO on hare Results
Thanks everyone. I won't be attending to many more trials this year. I've got a lot on my plate right now. Humdinger sure has been a pleasure to run this year. I can't wait to see what one more winter of running and hunting will do for him. I think once he hits his 2 year old mark, I will really see...

Congrats... He sure is one heck of a hound. I sure hope you hit the Nationals with him in the next year or so. Better sooner than later while he is still HOT!!! Dave

Re: Best states to rabbit hunt

Food I'm sure. I love Cajun food... Women, we will see, I'll be passing through the Big Easy in a few day on ...
