Old Bramlett Blood -- NKC Male

I am getting out of beagles. I am selling Blackdirt Mikey . Mikey is 8yrs old, but he runs and hunts like a 4 or 5 yr old. He is a solid dog, packs well, hunts hard, and has had tons of rabbits shot over him . He is a 5 or 6 on the speed scale, no trash. ARHA#914527 He is out of Bramletts grizzly Be...

Re: Rabbit population

Yes, it is one of the reasons I severley downsized my rabbit hound population. It is also the reason I went and got a cur dog to train on squirrels. The squirrel population is much better here :) ; squirrels are under much less pressure from predators and humans than rabbits. I have noticed that the...

Re: Ol' Roy High Performance or SportsMix High Energy

I'm always looking for a cheaper way to care for my hounds. I do my own shots, worm them with panacur (horse wormer), buy my own FishMox instead of dragging them to the Vet everytime I think they have a mild infection, etc. My hounds are well cared for and healthy - everytime something comes up the...

Re: the new look

I changed to firefox browser a good while back. I like it and have a lot less trouble since switching from IE. It won't work on this board now, or at least I don't know how to make it work. Does anyone? Larry G PS: Looks like the board has now become a "smilies smorgasbord". Yay, that way we can al...

That would be Don McCutchen, The last time I was at Don's house he was having trouble with his knee's. I don't know if he still has hounds but he would be a good source of information on Red Man Yes, that been going on for almost a decade with Don. Damron got out of beagles, and you can go to squir...

yes

go on the 4ft x 8 ft x 2ft dimensions that way you will use all your lumber, no scraps. Dont use wire for the floor , 2x2 spaced an 1 3/8 off ctr then use a 3 foot sheet of 1/2 plywood in the rear for the dog house to sit on. A medium ruff haus will slide right in a back entrance. make a small front...

I think TC is probably onto something with his post as I live in the middle of mine country and not far from the public state run wildlife areas. I can tell you that there is adjacent land that is privately owned AND a lot of the mine properties do NOT allow hunting of any kind on them. If hunters ...

Running it like he was tied to with a string; this went on for a 1 1/2 laps then he had a blow up. Second rabbit could never get going right. Not sure what was up t...
