I've been washing the area with warm soapy water. I then disinfect it with paroxide and finally I put a little antifungal cream on it mixed with an antibacterial cream. Looks better but I'll give it a week or so and see how it goes.....Deerhost

Ear problem

Yesterday I noticed my male dog had what looked like caked in hard mud on the very edge of one of his ears. When I tried to rub it off I noticed it was bare skin and raw (allmost bleeding ) underneath it. I have read somewhere that this could be a sign of mange. But the dogs coat looks fine and asid...

Scott kennel flooring

Has any one ever used this kennel flooring from scott kennel supply? I have been told buy someone that it may not be suitable for dogs pads in colder climate. My other option would be plastic covered wire. I have found this in the 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" spacing, is the spacing OK or do I need it smaller i...

I would like to buy the larger single pack and split the dosage with a syring to treat each dog. Can anyone tell...

Young dog Running on snow

I am fairly new to beagling and I have a two year old beagle that was started late and this is his first hunting season. Before we had snow on the ground he ran great, short checks long runs and few losses. Then we got snow here in Newyork and I,ve run the dog on the snow and he looks like a fool. W...
