Re: Python cattle tags

The Python tags are used on cattle ears to keep pest(flys, bats and ect) from the cows face and head not the whole cow. So don't be afraid to use them on your beagle. I use them with great results in my 20-30 pound dogs. When I put them on my bird dog who is 45 pound he will get a few ticks on his b...

Re: Accomplishment over Sytle

If your fast dog is going over the end and creating a check its a fault. There are always going to be checks in a run but you expect a check at a change in direction of the rabbit. Some dogs just have a check because they are trying to outrun the other dogs. To me that's a fault. Anything that keeps...

Re: young pup

I agree on that. The way a pup runs is in his genetics. He is going to turn into what is in his genes. Once the breeding is made it is out of a trainers and beaglers hands.

Re: young pup

I believe in soloing a young dog if he is not getting enough work done in a pack and is just following the dogs around giving tongue but not getting any work done. Heck I solo all my pups for a period of time to get them to run there own track and let them learn how to work a check. But in my opinio...

Re: Kennel Smell

I mixed it strong the first application as the box instructed. I used 8 tbs to a gallon of water in my spray tank. I then sprayed under and around all my kennels. After I sprayed it I got worried because the smell really filled my intire yard. But by the next day the smell of the creolin was not as ...

Re: Kennel Smell

Thanks likeemfast. I ordered a 16 oz bottle from Amazon and got it today. It cost me $18.53 shipped. I mixed the first batch today stronger then regular at 2 tbs per quart, so I mixed 8 tbs in a gallon. I dropped about 1/2 tbs on my garage floor because I was lazy and didn't want to go outside and l...

Re: Kennel Smell

I tried the Odoban from Home Depot and it does not work for me. It just mixes in with the kennel smell and makes it smell even more vulgar....dh

Kennel Smell

With the warm weather coming the soil under my above ground kennels are already starting to stink. I usually lime the hell out of it and I spray the soil with odoban or Pinsol but nothing helps. Would like to hear some feed back from you guys if you have tried anything new that really works. I've ne...

Tri-tronics training Collar Help

I got a refurbished EXP collar from Garmin today and married it to my Pro 100 3 dog transmitter today and accidentally put two collars on the same transmitter button(color). Does anyone know how to remove or un marry one of the colors from that button or color. The Pro 100 uses the same collars as t...
