Re: Time to re-flect.
Started out deer hunting with dogs and would switch back in a heartbeat if I could.

Re: no paper beagles
There is not a larger group that floods the market with worthless junk than trialers. And 90% of trialers use AKC. 99 out of 100 folks you visit with grade beagles can kill rabbits any day of the week. Folks that own grade dogs don't chase down judges or chase down the flavor of the month studs who ...

Re: Best cross of all times
Probably in old man's back yard that couldn't tell you what an AKC or UKC or NKC was. He probably never stepped foot in a briar patch and probably never had any "bad" scent days. He wasn't worried about winning any trial, only long races in the summer (while sitting by a fire and sipping wildcat) an...

Re: Black Wolf UPDATE!!
, they wiped the native red wolf of the US out. : Hey Patch, I just read where in NC the Red Wolves have raised 11 litters out of 15 packs with a total of I think 41 pups. At least they aren't really any bigger than a large coyote. I couldn't imagine dealing with those 150lb beasts up north.

I"ve heard the Kubota is one tough UTV also.
Stay away from the Yamaha's. I've seen the "Tip over" problem first hand.

Re: need advice on UTV
The Rangers are tough but......... They suck around water but we ride in waist deep water sometimes so normal water is ok, except the breather is plastic and will get holes in it. All the ones I ride with had their breathers took off and replaced with rubber hoses. No problems since then. If you buy...

Re: WHAT IS THE EASIEST TRAIT TO BREED INTO A DOG.
Chuck I just put that to make the point. it does seem bad traits are easier to continue in dogs than good ones are. So many over the years omly look at the good traits in the sire and dam and don't really even consider looking at the bad. Sometimes its desguised pretty well. John, as one of the fol...

AKC Hitchiker male for sale
I got an 8 year old Black and Tan male directly out of Hitchiker and Thorn Gap bitch for sale. Never measured but he's probably 13"-13.5". I've had him since he was 1 year old so he's done me well. He's getting a little slow for me. Probably make a good puppy trainer. Handles well and no trash for y...

Re: Grey Color Beagle
I'm most certain every vet will tell you DON'T breed a grey beagle. You may be lucky and not have problems but you are passing on the problem if you bred them. Why be tempted? You won't be tempted if you cull these grey beagles or at least get them fixed and hope you don't end up with a pile of vet...

Just zip tie 2ft wide sections from one corner to the next and create an apron of sorts across the top.
That darn Rowdy has one. I should have shot him years ago.

Re: Shipping wild rabbits?
The best advice I can give you is to call your local game warden and ask him.
If you are not legal and you ship them out of state, you are in violation of federal laws and the feds are not nice. Even with rabbits.

Re: Breeding a 13in. gyp to a pretty good size Redtick Coonhound
[ You would be hurting it by putting coon hound blood into a beagle.. No doubt when speaking about keeping the breed pure that you would be taking that out. [THAT IS HURTING THE BREED NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! At least the guys breeding the flavor of the month are still keeping it purebred. I know that co...
