I have six at this time. They range from 11 months to almost three. I like younger hounds but a few of these will get old with me.

Ghostman, refer to my post on the breaking off deer. All lines are trashy until broke. Just take my bet on there and I'll show you and the whole world. Yes, you are right that 20 FC's is just that 20. How many other dogs have bred hundreds of litters and not had that many. I ain't basing my breeding...

I agree with Big Dog. He more or less said it all. However, give me any dog, all the dogs as pups and you won't find a born trash free dog in the whole bunch. Like Big Dog said, its all in exposure. I welcome anyone that claims to have a trash free line to send some young dogs down here. If they won...

I reckon you are talking about a dog that just babbles like they are running a rabbit, gets your heart pounding only to be shattered when the other dogs check it out and don't open.

I hate those kind of dogs and they don't stay long here.

Oh boy, I had this argument with a former member on the RHO board and he didn't like what I had to say. Guys, ain't no dog ever "naturally" deer broke. I guarantee it. Just send me one down here and I'll prove it. YOu cannot breed deer running out of a line of dogs. Now, I agree that if a dog is not...

Must have been the bottom end that added the trash running then. My dog will not run a deer and seizures are not hereditary according to my vet. I might also add that Kalagha's breeding record speaks for itself.

SOmewhere down the line, that worthless dog's traits is going to show up. Otherwise, what good is a pedigree if traits only come from the parents. It may not in one generation but what about the second. I'll take my chances with good dogs breeding good dogs.

I agree that even though she don't hunt, she may be able to produce with great success. I just have a question: What good is a dog if the dern thing don't hunt. Why would anyone have a dog that just laid in the pen to have pups unless it was for money. Now, if someone is in it for the money, then I ...

People who use dogs for the sole purpose of having pups for money will never get my business. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it. I don't care what she is bred out of or what dogs are in her pedigree. If she don't hunt, then she is useless.

Anyone run dogs bred out of Coleman's Line Controller?

have a chance to buy a young male that is heavy with FC Coleman's Line Controller. His grandsire is FC COntroler's Kid. I know his sire has one SPO win and may have more by now. That's not really important but apparently it does well in SPO. I know this dog and wanted a litter mate sister but no luc...

Hell, you are supposed to have written permission in this state now if you are on it. They just don't enforce it as long as they can talk with the landowner. Just like the 50 yard rule. They passed that and said it would enforce folks shooting from the road but a warden told me that it was 100 yards...
