I have a 3yr old female that when running she will just stop and come back to spot where rabbit was jumped. Was going to try and run her with another dog to see if she would stay on track. Think this might work or any other ideas? Thanks

mine did the same thing today. we jumped three and they ran for about 200 yds and just quit. very frusterating. crazy runnin in dec. with 70 degree weather.

i do need to get them out more, guilty there. I will try some of these tricks to help out, thanks for the advice

I have two females that are 20mos. old. I have taken them out, they have seen rabbits, smelled their scent, just cant seem to get the switch to click. Should i give them a little more time, take them to a starting pen [ if not too late] or find them a good home and get a dog already started? Just ab...

Well that gives me hope. I have a pair that will be 2 in November and they still haven't opened up yet. Giving them this fall and that will be it. Time for a new home after that. Glad your dog took off.

With summer coming on, looking for some advice on keeping dogs cool. I moved kennel up under deck for all day shade practically. Give them fresh water every morning and evening. Anything else to help them out?

How old was your dog? I have 2 that are 13mos. that I am having a hard time getting started. About ready to find them a home but may try to trap one. Just about out of ideas. Glad she opened up for you and hope she continues to progress.

Not trying to be lazy, just sometimes we are gone overnight. Just would be easier for these times, my neighbor that would help me moved away so I guess I need to find a new one.

Was curious if anyone uses automatic feeders. I know beagles will eat til they get sick, but was curious if anyone had success with one. Was thinkin about adding one to my kennel. thanks
