How is your hound? My first thought was also CHF. But I am under qualified too Let us know how things turn out. At fifteen its been a great life!

Some years ago my vet gave me the same theory as Caincutter has mentioned and it has worked for me. Not going to hurt them to go without water for one day. Substitute ice cubes instead that is the only difference with what I do.

SR Patch is right, the fancy word for it is stress effluvium (SP). That came straight from Doc S when he was on here. My hounds will frequently blow their coat after a litter of pups some worse than others, just keep feeding the dam pup chow free feed until you ween the pups.

at the bottom on the left side is a puppy data sheet under pregnancy calender. Has a place to put shots. That is what I use. Put the stickers from the shots right on it.

My thought was ringworm too. Usually show up in a perfect circle. Very contagious. Human can get it too. Let us know what the vet says. Would be curious to find out.

I have tried just about everything, and have found that bath mats work well. Get yourself a few of them to change out every couple days when they are little.
