Billi is right. How often do you get the chance to be around so many people that spend so much time running dogs, training young dogs, hunting, .... Feild trialing should be fun no matter what format. The best thing anyone can do is read the rulebook and see how the format they are running keeps sco...

OK. It sounds like everyone who has seen Lady and Lucy agree they are nice. I`ve seen Sabrina run, and she is a real bitch. She was pretty old and not in the best of shape when I seen her. But still, Impressive. NOW, how would a guy find a good started dog, or puppy out of either of these 2 bitches....

best bitches
As far as I`m concerned, DON HOOG has the best bitches consistantly than anyone I know of. You don`t hear him bragging about it, and truthfully he don`t need to brag. The records speak for themselves. If you don`t know Don, his kennel name is "TALK ABOUT".

I don`t believe there is much difference in the two. Just a matter od style. WELLS WOODS was right on the money. In NKC they don`t minus a hound for any kind of rough running. If you like a clean, honest, and hard driving hound than Midwest Gun Dog is for you. I`ve done alright in these trials. My d...

As a matter of fact I did step up and judge. I might even of judged your dog. I judged Bruners champion bitch, and Sangamon Ridges champion. Also, I judged one cast of opens. You need not tell me about spending time running and conditioning of hounds. I run an average of 4 hours a day, weekdays, wee...

Grand Nationals(JUST TELL`N IT HOW IT IS)
I just came from the Grand Nationals last weekend. I was very surprised that there were only 143 open dogs. Over the 2 days I spent there I seen some great judging, and some not so great. For the record judging was tough, and if done right, $20.00 wasn`t half enough to pay these guys. Like so many o...
