Re: Why always the sire?
I have 2 females, your welcome to watch them in the field. Looking for a great stud dog, that has all the tools. It will only cost you $1000 to breed your stud to each of my females. If they don’t turn out I will take the heat for it. You can blame my females.

Re: Artificial sweeteners l
Christmas Day our Doberman ate a whole pack of sugarless gum (artificially flavored) while we were away. I googled it and read dog needs to go to vet. I didn’t take her, she didn’t poop for 2 days but she’s still fine.

Re: Is it tick cold
I was afraid of that, someone told me they should be wiped out with this cold weather. I doubted the info so I was reading up on it online and read both outcomes of dying off and not dying off with the weather. I figured some guys up north who experience cool weather every year would have a response...

Is it tick cold
So I've read a week of well below freezing will kill ticks. I've also read it won't. Was just wondering since we have consistently been below 17 for a couple weeks and down to -5 what are your thoughts as to if it may have a impact on the tick population? Can't remember how long it's been this cool ...

Re: Green Bay Sako....at STUD in WV.
Ran with Sako and a few littermates back in June when I visited Jim. Was a 70 plus degree day, we didn't lack jumps, they ran well for a warm dry day, and dont stand at your feet. Quick and clean, keep the track between their legs, plainly put they are rabbit dogs.

Stupid is as stupid does. Seems NC is as big a dumb :moon: as PA was years ago. I got a kick outta this one this year while getting our licenses. Now in PA if you wanna shoot a put-n-take pheasant you have to buy a $20 stamp to do so. You have to pay $20 to shoot a bird that most of the time does no...

Re: Green Bay Sako....at STUD in WV.
Jim Thanks for taking good care of her till I got back down to get her and hopefully those turkey cooperate if we get out. I enjoyed the time afield running the hounds and saw a number of good things in Sako that has me hopeful on this breeding. I'd be happy to feed those females too if you grow tir...

Jim
Was great meeting you today, it was good to finally meet, it's been a long time coming.
Sako is a good looking hound, looking forward to this cross, I like the chances on a few good ones. As always, time will tell.
Thanks for taking care of Lacy thru the process.

Re: Value Pack dog food
Nobody believes Walmart makes their own products or butchers their own beef, or has a large chicken coop that they gather eggs from. The shows have been on TV how they beat up their suppliers on prices till the supplier goes out of business then they beat up on another supplier. It's not whether the...

Have you ever feed Valu- Pak? No I have not. I've always been told by my father "you get what you pay for" and "if it seems too good to be true it usually is". ....... $22 for 50lb with basically the same ingredients as Victor hits both warnings for me, but I'm also the same guy who won't shop at W...
