The most important part is feeding raw, when you cook it the meat loses ALOT of the quality. ALSO never feed cooked bones to a dogs that’s when they splinter and kill your dog.

Find anything? My suggestion is feed him some bacon fat or something to grease up his coat and don’t wash him till spring, the coat will thicken up but probably won’t get longer. I like a nice shiny greasy coat so any time the dog gets wet the water runs right off and the dog will stay dry.

you can try all the additives you want and it may help for a little while BUT he’s breaking down and more than likely has an issue. getting him checked for a problem is a much better way around if you enjoy having a LP Champion in your yard. kidney failure, lymes, thyroid, etc. it goes on and on.

Get her on atleast 50% puppy chow mixing with her dog food and by the time she has the pups you should have her changed over fully to the puppy food. Labs are used most for it here in Maine, i know a few guys that do it. the primary use for the shed dog around here is moose antlers. we have a lot of moose and the antlers weigh a lot. depending on year but i think antlers sell for around $7 per pound.
