The purpose in using a salt supplement is to replace minerals that have been "sweated out".

Dogs don't sweat. I don't see any value to giving a "salt lick" to a dog.

I have a buddy who is a paramedic. He keeps me supplied in sterile water and it is good to use to flush the eyes also. (can you believe they have an expiration date on sealed sterile water? I get all the expired bottles.)

I think an acre would do for starting small pups. I have a friend with about a two acre starting pen. He gets the pups started, but they catch some of his rabbits.

Just my opinion here on speed..... 99% of the people out there say they have "medium-fast dogs" A dog they try to sell because it's too slow for their pack they describe as "medium speed". A dog that runs the front of their dogs they call "Fast" but then they say "Loose, or rough". The dog they sold...

I agree that Plunkett's prices are hard to beat, and Chad is a super nice guy. On top of that I like seeing someone who gets out and participates in our sport get my business!!!!! Guys, I'm not doubting anyone's word but I have been to Glen Johnston's many times. He has a bunch more dogs then I would want, but everytime I have been there they have been clean and well cared for.
