When I ran a lot of UKC trials there was a man by the name of Mike Hulce from south west Michigan. He ran heavy Boldstroke breeding. it's been a few years ago. From what I remember they were upper medium speed, lock on track dogs with big noses.

I brought one BTT in the trial results from Muskegon River.

Mid west trial in bad conditions. BTT. Tried to get this on Talking dogs.

Date are, October 29th, Males, & 30th, females. They were able to obtain the same outside grounds that Muskegon River used last spring. Went from a 4 day trial to a 2 day. I've been shooting one for awhile. I don't remember where I read it, but it said to remove choke for slugs as well as the 45. I have forgotten on occasion and fired a 45 through the choke. Nothing bad happened but still not recommended.

Oakland is not a Midwest member either. I don't see Central Indiana on April 30th and May 1st.

Looks like the ad in the December Better Beagling magazine has a couple names and date messed up. You might want to clarify to save confusion. I'm thinking the eligibility year would be 2015, and the judge for the 15" bitch class is Neil Miles, Neil Kimbrel, or Ron Conroe?

Gonna be heading out the door at 4pm tonight on our way to the Island. Won't be back til Tuesday. 18 dogs gonna be pounding. Couple of young dogs first time on hare, should be a blast.

I have a gun hunter friend that, for reasons I will never understand, likes little beagles. I'm talking 10" - 12" tall. Anybody know of anyone with 13" hounds that might throw a smaller one every now and again? He is purely a gun hunter, and the hound will probably be an inside dog as well. P.M. me ...
