Re: Nursing Nine Pups

Thanks Dana. Since she was so big before whelping she wasn't like she should have been. Her appetite is much improved.

Nursing Nine Pups

Happy Easter everyone! My dog had nine pups Friday night, and her and the pups are doing well. Since I never had a litter this large, I am concerned if she will be able effectively nurse all of them. I put her on a high quality puppy food more than two weeks before she whelped. Has anyone had a litt...

Fort Hill Rollin Rock

Has anyone seen this dog run, or any of it's pups? If so, how would you describe them?

13 1/2" Female out of Awful Bawlin Get a Wack at ER: SOLD

Four year old lemon female out of Wack and Onmeown Slick's Magie. Hard hunt, tough, handles very well, quiet in the kennel, and can keep the track between her legs; can really lock onto a track. A typical Awful Bawlin bred hound...

Do you belong to the Corning Beagle Club, or have the contact information of someone who does?

Thanks.

Re: Running Pen Size for Cottontail

My dogs are run-to-catch. I am to build a running pen because I am running out of places to run my dogs. If I build a pen, I will still look for more places to run. I wouldn't run them in the pen every day and I would limit the running time to about four or five hours a day. Based on my experience i...

Re: Running Pen Size for Cottontail

Thanks BC Beagles. Back in the early 80's I use to run one dog in an area that couldn't have been more than 10 acres, but we could run all day. The cover was very thick with hard hack, blueberry bushes, laurel, etc.

Re: Running Pen Size for Cottontail
