I've waited on buying before due to the person not having the papers at the time. Then turn around and sell the pup on me. Oh well lol I rather not get crooked.

If it's not a buddy I always have papers in hand. By buddy I mean someone I run dogs with or gun hunt with on a regular basis.

Not improving the breed when you just breed based off looks. Just because two looks sharp, but can't run worth a lick don't mean you'll get barn burners. You'll more then likely get yard dogs.

Imo if the dog can smoke a rabbit I don't care what type of bite it has. A so called "defect" doesn't make or break the hound. Just my two cents.

I don't use it. Never will. I've had buddies use it for years, and when it started to effect their dogs they stopped. Granted when you nearly kill one that will make you quit. I know a few guys that has killed their own dogs on accident with the stuff before.

It all depends on how the dog runs, and if it suits me. I normally raise a pup I buy off of someone. Not a lot of rabbits to run where I live or good spots for that matter.
