Do your your dogs catch them in late season ? Jan,feb ?hows there hunt when soloed on snow ? Im looking for a pup from hunting stock

I understand the lack of hunt part ! But the eatin grass i dont get ! It was like they were put out to pasture ! And would not hunt at all

Ive noticed certain bloodlines refuse to hunt in less then ideal senting conditions or when soloed . Turn them loose and they stand on the paths eating grass ! But have demonstrated exceptional skills at times .anyone have any opinions on what causes this .

I feel your pain ! Iam currently driving 60mi one way to run dogs on Saturday and Sunday. That will change for me soon but i been doing it for awhile now . Places to run are scarce these days . I dont even ask for permisson anymore from land owners I just run on state game lands

I like the ranger dan stuff ! Hard hunting jump dogs with plenty of nose power ! In all the ones ive had . But was he realy bred to that much ??? Correct me if im wrong but i didnt think he got used much just reproduced well.

I use a h&r single shot 20.ga 26in full choke . I beat brush with it ,kill rabbits with it & it rides in the bed of my truck all season ! And is still worth what i paid for it

Passengers on the bus ! Is a good way of puttin it . But when anyone makes a cross they have to either have hunted with several generation's on the sire & dams side top & bottomTo say what the passengers are ! Or realy believe in it ! And think all the dogs in the pedigree were superior to others ! ...

If the dog is what you want thats a good price . Ive raised pups ,started them , ran the crap out of them and they just didnt finish into the type of dog i was hoping for ! And if you add up the time , money and disappointment ! Not a bad price !

Facebook isnt much Imo. I think this site is to much about trialing then hunting and doesnt interest as many people.
