To many hounds are over fed. You should be able to feel the ribs, not see but feel. Let the light feeders eat first, then let out the others to clean up. If a hound would rather guard feed than eat, it's not hungry and over fed. Worm first, before you feed and the hound will eat the meat with wormer...

Do you have lime under the pens? If they are cleaned under and fresh lime added, that should help alot.
Use "Fly away", it's a roll -on product for horses, this will keep the flies off the hounds...Patch

Just talked to E.C. Hare and he says Old Kickapoo was judging them hounds on the wrong rabbit. He said he was in at the check down by the creek and there was a split.
