Just for my own curiosity, why don't you want pennyroyal patch casey in the pedigree?

Snowed a few inches the first year we went up, nothing but maybe a light dusting here or there the other years.

We've gone up to Drummond Island (eastern UP) for past 5 yrs in Oct. We've always run a ton of hare, last year was the best year we've had yet. Almost too may hare, alot of splits.

We've had some patch dogs out of Pennyroyal patch casey and Tussey's White Lady and all of them have been very fast! They could burn up either a cottontail or a hare! I've never actually seen a patch bred hound that wasn't fast.

John Lehner, Jr. (bald eagle beagles) and Jim Campbell run dogs with each other, they both run and breed the patch line. Jim Campbell might only stud his dogs out to pure patch females as well.
