Re: Ever had a dog caught in a trap?
Had a gyp put her entire head through a 220 double spring. Being a trapper I heard the familiar snap from the dirt trail I was on. Re: Blue Ridge Beagle Club Rabbit Hunt
This question has been asked of me several times. You can hunt rabbits in any state with an open season. Just be sure to have your entry rabbit at Blue Ridge for weighing in the times specified.

Re: Blue Ridge Beagle Club Rabbit Hunt
We are also pre selling tickets and selling day of hunt for just the membership raffle. Those tickets are $10.00 ea. A person not from the general area that wins this , could enjoy some camping /hound running trips. We have a decent guest policy for members to be able to bring a guest to run with. T...

Re: Longest solo runs time wise you have ever seen !
Time wise. 60 + hrs. Ran this hare clean out of the country. Lol Many yrs ago we had a hare forced out onto the snow covered frozen waters of St Lawerence river. Managed to tackle two hounds off the line , but My hound Molson Golden took the line out across the river. 4-500 yds to a canadian Island....

The Pearly Gates
A man that recently passed found himself at the pearly gates. Saint Peter approached him and looked over his credentials. "Seems you have spent most of your life with an uncaring attitude and a strong me first trait" " Not the kind of men who just waltz through these gates ". Peter continued " You h...

Re: John Chandlers, FC Aesop?
I have judged him and watched him run many times. Very successful hound. He won our purina points 13" class last weekend at Blue Ridge Beagle Club. He wasn't the hardest hitting/fastest hound on the ground , but he did lead and control the chase often enough. I watched several times as the leading c...

Re: Pictures of your success of gun day
SR ,Your last post is very well spoken. Some great thoughts. I just took one of my kids through hunter saftey course. Part of their discussion was about transportation of harvested game. Explaining to limit exposure with respect to. Went over population statistics. Only about 2% of residents in my s...
