Re: Shuttin' Detroit Down
Those are the legacy costs that prevent the big 3 from building a profitable vehicle at a price point that makes it competitive. Standing on an assembly line, doing repetitive actions anyone (including the local burger flipper making minimum wage) could master in a matter of minutes does not "earn" ...

Re: Shuttin' Detroit Down
But the news today is that while Yobama's preparing for a BK on Chrysler, "reports that an agreement was reached with the United Automobile Workers union to protect pension and retiree health care benefits in the planned Chapter 11 filing, which could come next week." So even though their ov...

Ron,
I hate to hear this. Everything was so darn good yesterday and now this really sucks! Did you lose the pups too?

Out of curiousity, what store did you find that carries the Nu-Stock? Our TSC doesn't carry it and I went to a feed/tack store that didn't have it either. I wound up getting some from a wholesale distributor nearby, but it would probably be less hassle through a retail store. Thanks.

Re: Next to last day of MO rabbit season
That's my cousin's pup, about 6 months old. He both opened and followed my dogs that day, so it was a success.

Next to last day of MO rabbit season
We had a good weekend to wrap up the season; got these before we took a late lunch and another afterwards. Four more the next morning (the last day of season) but everybody was in a rush to leave and so no photo memories. We had several good hunts in my cousin's neck of the woods this year! The tric...

Re: Nutro feed
To clarify, I feed the Nutro Max beef and rice formula year round, which I can usually find on sale for somewhere in the high twenties for the 35-40 lb bag. During the winter months, I have one dog that has trouble keeping weight on in the cold (even if he isn't being hunted), so I'll pick up a bag ...

Re: Nutro feed
I've been using it for over a year and it's the best I've tried. I switched from Science Diet when my dogs started looking rougher and I thought maybe the quality of that food had declined. They don't crap near as much on Nutro and it isn't that awful sem-solid goo I see other dogs dropping. I ran a...

Re: Obama as President
These idiot democraps are going to be crap out of luck: wiping out the babies and throwing support behind the homos (not exactly baby producers on their own) :???:....Who the hell's going to be there to pay the entitlements for the next generations (vital for the democrap vote-buying regime)? It sur...

Good Sunday Hunt
My brother and I were lucky enough to get up to our cousin's place this weekend for a few hours of good running and less-than-perfect shooting; GOOD TIMES! http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/ii55/barnold1/IMG_4049r.jpg This was my excuse for the "easy shot" of the day (got him next circle): http://i...

Franchi 620 with 24" barrel; carries easy all day and with IC choke and 5-6 shot gets the job done on rabbits.

Re: 14 Billion Auto Bailout Dies in Senate
There's a hell of a lot of unskilled "labor" under the union umbrella for each executive.....If the execs are pulling down say a combined 8-figure amount, that doesn't come close to accounting for losses in the billions, now does it????? When the Big 3 have thousands extra in parasitic costs for eac...
