Re: 1-day Poll
Why not just watch the video? Practically everything is on a CSpan channel now and it eventually ends up on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqhtUTyqVOY

Re: Dog removes collar
Thanks DJC those chain collars look real nice! If you don't mind I'm going to save this post on my favorites and check back with you in a few months to see how they worked out.

Re: Dog removes collar
Ok now why didn't I think of that?! Quick, simple, and cheap.sparkydog wrote:take a small zip tie and run thru the buckle and one of the holes in the collar so that it cant come out of the buckle, I do this on my shock ollars when I hunt to keep the dogs from loosing them, they cost about 5 cents each.

Re: Dog removes collar
I had thought about that but wasn't sure if it would hurt the dog I had put it on. But hey if it didn't hurt those rabbits...

Re: Dog removes collar
Yeah that's what I'm worried about. I've got a female that chews through the kennel wire. Another little male that tries to slip out every time I change their bedding. I like smart dogs but now I'm paying for it. I just bought a bunch of chain collars with the stainless steel name plate, and have th...

Dog removes collar
I've got a little male with a pretty annoying habit. Anytime he's kenneled with another dog he takes the collar off the other dog. At first I just thought it was a fluke but after several times of having to pull collars out and clean them, I started watching him with binoculars. He's not pulling at ...

Re: Help Me Pick My Starting Lineup
Yeah I would have to agree that #1 and #4 would be the ones I would let go.
#1. Is starting to swing wide when pressured. Good possibility it will get worse and could affect other dogs. #4... same thing, I just don't like a dog that swings wide at the check.

Re: Fox & Coyote Pens
I talked with Dad today. At our peak we owned a little less than 400 acres and that was spread out over 3 different farms. If PETA and the HSUS had their way I wouldn't have been able to legally chase rabbits on my own land.
That kinda brings it home for ya.

Re: 1-day Poll
Well BG you are right about one thing... I did have a good idea what responses I could expect. When I posted this nobody in the news had caught up with it yet. It was introduced in an empty House. The Democratic leadership didn't know it existed and the Republican leadership wasn't inclined to infor...

Re: Fox & Coyote Pens
Thanks for the update Gary. I really don't think people realize this will effect ALL ENCLOSURES UNDER 300 ACRES. Including those for BEAGLES ON RABBIT and FIELD TRIALS. There... maybe that will help. People, the definition given for an enclosure is intentionally broad on this one. It is essentially ...

Re: Fox & Coyote Pens
I was going through older posts on here and I am sooooo glad I saw this one. Here, in Indiana, the HSUS is using the same footage to push their radical agenda. There have been a few posts about it on the Hunting Legislation section but hardly anyone pays attention to what gets posted there. It's a s...

Re: 1-day Poll
So let me get this straight... the Democrats on here cannot blame Bush for the situation we are in, but you can blame the brief Democratic majority for the situation we are in?! The hypocrisy of that mindset is sickening. And it is really rather sad that that is the best you could do. I doubt you ar...

Re: 1-day Poll
Well I have to say I was a bit disappointed by the low turn-out on this one. It only ran for 1 day (midnight to midnight) and for good reason... the political pundits aren't talking about this one yet. Better to get the fastball out in front of the people throwing curve balls. :D *HR 1297 was introd...
