When I'm buying a broke dog. I can usually tell the first time out if he's gonna fit my pack or not.
When it comes to a pup I usually know what I have by the end of 1 full hunting season which is usually around a year - 18 months old.

90s all week. I'm pretty much done for the summer. Maybe catch a cooler day here and there. Rabbits here don't run good when it's this hot. My dogs will run the rabbits down on the first circle or two. Has happen once last month and twice this month. Mostly Crabbing and fishing until September for me.

Brains! Seems like them smart ones always end up staying the longest.
