Snowshoe average beagles cannot run a cottontail when conditions are bad either ! I hunt areas that get hunted heavily and I have heard more packs of dogs this year that cant run a rabbit off the jump on bad days than ever before ! I am fortunate to have a good coldnosed beagle that can get it done ...

pine lakes I just made a suggestion so if having a mid- west trial on snow in freezing conditions dosent appeal to you guys , so be it!
