A guy who I work with who recently started hunting with me makes rabbit jerky. He de bones it, then fine grinds it, then shoots it out of a jerky gun. You can't even tell it's rabbit. Also you could try pot pies.

I run at night usually in the hot months.

Woodbury no longer has a dog training area. The took it away a few years ago. There is a dog training area on AEP ground and one at tri valley, but lately the dog training areas have been covered up with turkey hunters. I'll try and call my local warden tomorrow and verify having a liscense or not. ...

What county were you in? Around here in coshocton ohio I run my dogs all night on dog training area and have never heard of what he is saying..

I will try and get ahold of the guy that ran the trial and see if he will post results..

The Garmin claims to get like 9 miles and it doesn't. I had the 220 and did what yours is doing. I have the alpha now and it's a lot better! But it still doesn't get the mileage Garmin claims, there are too many variables that dictate service. Your problem sounds normal

Alpha all the way! Although I can't use it in most trials I would still but it again.. When my dad and I go to trials I use one of his dc 40 collars.

Just curious as to why you couldn't hit anything? I have a commanche and love it! I don't shoot many rabbits and it's real easy to carry. I have found that 2.5" 6 shot duplex reloads out shoots factory 3" 6 shot.
