Jack,

I just had a guy tell me that his vet told him that sperm live 3 days inside the female and breeding on 3 day cycles was acceptable. You know how that goes every vet has different opinions also. I think every 2 days is just better for a hit. I usually breed twice.

It depends on how much you run your dogs? If you run then 4-5 days a weeks 26-18 is fine in my opinion.

If you cut them too short don't worry about it you can replace them for about five bucks. I recently bought a 4 dog set that had been cut too short. But I have always cut some off.
