Mom's can only do so much. They can usually handle the first two weeks but as the pups get bigger so does the waste. They will probably be ready to start food soon if they haven't started already stealing from mom's bowl.

Actually there are quite a few studs out there with frozen semen available and some from the deceased hounds as well.

It's just not for me.......Make your mark now while you can and if the breeding was a good one there will be enough good dogs to carry on. Maybe even some better ones!!!!

Nemex 1 cc/ml per ten pounds of body weight A twenty pound dog would get two cc's I just wormed a litter of pups at two weeks old the biggest was 2 Lb and the smallest was 1.5 Lb. so I gave all the pups 0.2 cc of wormer. I use a 3 CC syringe as this gives readings in tenths to make measuring easier....
