Mid Nov. till the end of Febuary here in Georgia including Sundays. We have a 12 rabbit limit per person per day and can train our dogs year round day and night. Running is just as enjoyable if not more than the hunting.

My experience with Valbazen is that it makes some (not all) of my dogs feel bad during and after the three day worming. In a couple of days they feel fine but it seems to be a harsher wormer in comparison to the Safeguard. I started using Valbazen because the SafeGuard was NOT getting tapes. I was t...

1 cc of Valbazen per 10 lbs 3 to five days. My vet says five days but that seems a bit much to me. I have been using it 3 days and it has worked great. and Yes, it even gets the heads of the tapes. I only use this for tapes and ONLY when I see tapes present in the stool. I give Safe guard monthly wh...

Re: Tatoos

I tattoo my dogs. It hurts a little but they are quick to forgive. As far as Microchips, my wife used to work for a local animal shelter. The bad thing about microchips is that if the vet or facility that scans your dog doesn't have the same type scanner as your chip, they will have no way of knowin...

I live in North West Georgia. I get the burgandy bag for $13.00. The place I get it is the cheapest I have found it in the state. Even the feed store across the street sells it for $2.00 more a bag. According to the dealer, when Diamond changed from 40lb to 50lb bags they didn't change the price, ju...

I had a dog that lost weight after changing her to a higher protien winter food. The vet recommended puppy chow for a couple of weeks because the protien is easily digestable. She was worked up and found nothing wrong with her blood, stool or urine. Some dogs are just more sensitive to diet change.

Re: A real "SON OF A BITCH"

This is just MY opinion and I may get it all wrong, but here is my thinking. People offer their male Feild Champions up for stud. The fee can range from pick of the litter to $100 and up. You can take a good female to a Feild Champion and HOPE for good pups. Your average litter size is 7 so you may ...

Re: rebel.

Back to the origional question. The term "Feild Champion" is SUPPOSED to show that that dog is BETTER THAN AVERAGE in the feild. People will go to the flavor of the month hoping to get alittle of what that dog has. What some people don't realize is that just because a dog has a tittle does not mean ...

A friend of mine had a cherrie eye removed this past Monday from one of his hounds. Says it cost him $35.00. Does anyone know if it is genetic?
