Re: FC BRANKOS HARD ROCK. ISO BLOODLINE UP CLOSE

I've got Hard Rock close out of FC GMC's Primetime Peekaboo. I've also got Jack of All Trades 5 times in a 5 generation pedigree (1 in 3rd, 2 in 4th and 2 in 5th) in a young gyp. I sold her sister a few months back.

Re: Coccidia

Google Sulfadimethoxine (trade name Albon). I hear vets charge upwards of $100 for a pint of Albon. You can buy a gallon generic Sulfadimethoxine for $60. I have a gallon of the generic sitting on top of my beer fridge. I did write up a diy dog meds sometime back, would you like me to post it?

Re: Nose

Jim, I feel your pain. I also live in Maryland. That last statement you made is the kicker "I guess what my main question can I find a BIG nose AKA Dirt road /Frost proof breed that is NOT MOUTHY ? I have had only 3 of them in 55 + years". I've only had 1 in 50 years, she was a grade hound and my on...

Reduction: heavy Jack, Ninja, Ali-Baba & Heli Prop

Two years ago I breed a few of my old females and kept the female pups. I'm selling one and keeping one. All except the youngest have been to the running pen for a month. Only a few have been shot over. None have been broke off deer, but haven't run one either. My old girls don't start deer so it ha...

Re: Style of trial.

Boomer was Mojavadesert-Ky Sonic Boom. Mojavadesert was Don Potts and don't remember who the KY was. Boomer really liked deer and was sent to a "Deer Camp" and I picked him up from someone in south central KY at an AHRA Little Pack trial. I am sure you know the place, it is located in a time zone bl...

Re: males or females?

Dana, I tend to agree with you, but it goes in cycles. Someone buying a rabbit dog from you is probably looking at the bloodline and you have what that they want. They can purchase a female, breed it once and recoup all of their money. Now males on the other hand, only the best and big males make mo...

Re: Style of trial.

Dana, Having fun. I was running in a UKC club that imploded. That was fun and very close. I haven't been to a Large Pack trial in several years. I thought I had something and both got pickup together "laying a line". Probably more nose then everyone else and couldn't prove it. Oh well. What are you ...

Re: Style of trial.

It seems no one has answered your question , so I'll try. First let me say that every dog in my kennel has Hall of Fame Large Pack blood in them and I'm a hunter first. My Larger Pack blood includes Top Dog, SuperDog, Heli-Prop, Ali-Baba, Ninja, Ranger Dan and of course Jack of All Trades. All up cl...

Re: Looking to rebuild

When you say Awful Bawlin I assume you mean Versawacker. Viagra is his littermate brother and probably was breed more, so there should be some around. I would think Versawacker would throw pups faster than the 7 you are looking for. In all my travels talking dogs with many individuals if you are loo...

Re: wicked good day

Dana, It is how you look at it. Pennsylvania opened on the 24th but I and my son were busy bagging Sika syags. So this past weekend 31th I went hunting with 2 new young out of the starting pen females. Well I had a split track. I asked my Amish buddy to stay with the pack by him and I moved to the p...

Re: Branko Jack or Ali Baba?

Dana, yep running dogs but not traveling like I did. I'm staying closer to home, but still going to the Triple Challenge. When are you coming back? Now for another quote from Terry McBride, "Prop was the best running hound he ever saw run a rabbit." He was quoted in print and told me to my face. I d...

Re: cloning dogs

That doesn't sound that expensive to me. I never read "HOW" cloning worked, but this doesn't seem very difficult. In fact, similar to "in vitro fertilization". I bet if you flew over there with your dog and a surrogate mother stayed in a hotel until operation was completed and flew back home, the co...
