Re: Hounds do more than run rabbits!
Yelp, there is this big guy from way up north that has a heart of gold with the love of the hounds, and dedicated to God and family. Emery, you are special in my book.
Still talks funny though.

We do have some great memories, don't we Ricky?? That memory is one of my favorite. We were blessed as no one I know have ever seen that before and us sitting right there so close. You are also one of my favorite beagle buddies!! Also, mom's too.

Re: Hounds do more than run rabbits!
But, the most important thing these hounds have given me is the chance to meet some of the best folks ever to walk on this earth. I have made friendships that will last a lifetime. I am not talking about acquaintances that you see at the field trials every now and then and say “Hey”. I am talking a...

Hounds do more than run rabbits!
Folks, I have been running the hounds for many many years. Those little four legged critters have taught me some of the most important lessons in life. Patience, loyalty, unconditional love, determination just to mention a few. One of the most important things I have learned from the hounds is…. It ...

Re: She's losing her hair on her coat
Fish oil has the omega 3 in it which is good for the skin and coat. Pet tabs are just vitamins just in case a hound is low in something. I buy cod liver oil by the gallon and put it in a squirt bottle and put it on their feed at least once a week. Don't give them vitamins unless they are nursing pup...

Re: Frontline Plus Guys. Step in here

It is then distributed continuously to the skin and hair of your pet through the hair follicles. FRONTLINE® Plus For Dogscontains fipronil and the insect growth regulator (IGR) (S)-methopre...

One cc per dog down the back on frontline plus. I buy for the big dogs and divide it out. Works great.

Re: She's losing her hair on her coat
yes it would help. I had a bitch one time they blew her coat after having pups. 2 months after weaning she still had not alot of hair. I called my vet. She said give her some vitamins. Hormonal change will cause them to loose their coats. But good vitamins will help them get it back faster. Fish oil...

Re: She's losing her hair on her coat
Dogs will blow their coats from time to time. Is she itching??? Any sores??? Put her on a good vitamin like pet tabs. She will get it back if she doesn't have something else going on.
