Walmart sells an excellent food called Maximum Nutrition. I have used it for years. In my opinion, it's better than Diamond. You get very little stool, and it's hard and dark. The price is a little more than Diamond, but it's worth the difference, in my opinion. I use the lamb and rice.

chain collars

Slip Check Company in Missouri makes the best chain collars I have seen. I use them on all my hounds. 573-682-2597. The collars are about $11.00 each, but they last forever.

Don't use white-out! The AKC is very picky about such things! Use the supplemental form.

How many?

If you mean to say that the hounds not smelling the rabbit are not contributing, you would be wrong. In a good pack, the leading hounds change constantly, so a hound in the back one minute may be leading the next. Sure, you don't need that many hounds to run a rabbit, but it surely adds to the fun!

How many?

I generally run 12-18 hounds every time I go. It makes it much easier to start a rabbit, and the runs are exciting, especially in the springtime when rabbits are really running. Mine are all bred alike, so they run at about the same speed. The leading hounds change constantly. When scenting is good,...

Michigan Hounds

Thanks Guys! I'm looking for something along those lines to cross on a young bitch I have. She has some Waiska River Maximum Effort and Northway Ninja bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree. I want something with speed, but more line control than some of the "other" hare lines. Any suggestions wo...

Info on some Michigan hounds

I'm interested in some hounds I have heard about in Michigan. Does anyone know if the following hounds might be at stud: FC. Holdsworth's Magnum Force, Black Point Woodstock, FC. Lake Ogemaw Gunner?

Also, does anyone know the sire and dam of Gunner?

THANKS
